Privacy Policy

1. Overview

This policy explains what information WACatelog collects when you use our dashboard, and when your customers message your store on WhatsApp, and how that information is used, stored, and shared. We aim to collect only what is needed to run your store well.

2. What we collect

• Account data - your name, email, password hash, store name, currency, and business hours.
• Catalog and order data - the products, collections, and orders you create in the dashboard.
• Message data - content exchanged through the WhatsApp Cloud API, strictly as needed to run the order pipeline.
• Usage data - device, browser, and log information used to keep the service secure and reliable.

3. How we use your data

We use the data we collect to sync your catalog, match inbound messages to orders, send configured automations, and improve reliability, security, and product features. We do not sell customer data.

4. WhatsApp data

When you connect a WhatsApp Business number, we access only what Meta Cloud API provides to run your store - inbound messages, delivery status, and catalog sync.

5. Payment information

WACatelog is a multi-tenant platform. Each merchant connects their own payment gateway keys. We do not hold or process card details.

6. When we share data

We share data only with trusted service providers, integrations you connect, or when required by law.

7. Data retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. When you close your account, we delete or anonymize personal data within 30 days except where retention is legally required.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data.
